Terms & Conditions
1. IDENTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
All travelers must carry valid identification such as a passport or government-issued photo ID. It is essential that these documents are not expired. For international travel, ensure your passport doesn't expire within the next six months.
2. REPRESENTATIVES FOR SERVICE PROVIDERS
Dream Destination Getaways with Holly B. and its freelance travel advisors (referred to as “we” or “us”) operate as marketing agents for any airline, hotel, car rental company, tour manager, cruise line, or any other service provider mentioned in your itinerary or confirmation (“Service Providers”). We are not accountable for the actions or neglects of the Service Providers or their failure to stick to their own timelines, deliver services or refunds, financial insolvency, or failure to honour future journey credits. You understand that your travel arrangements may be disrupted or cancelled by the Service Provider, a governmental authority, or another third party beyond our control. You acknowledge that the Service Provider's own cancellation, rebooking and refund policies, subject to any applicable law that is now or may later be in effect, will dictate your rights and remedies, including your entitlement to a refund. We have no specific knowledge regarding the financial status of the Service Providers and bear no liability for suggesting a trip credit instead of a refund.
3. TRAVEL RISKS
We do not bear responsibility or liability for actions or omissions by any other entity not under our jurisdiction, or for events of force majeure, unsafe situations, terrorist activities, health risks including pandemics, weather conditions, or the suitability of any part of a trip for disabled individuals. We have no specific knowledge of potential hazards during travel or at the destination. For such information, we suggest consulting the State Department's travel website at www.travel.state.gov-- navigate to "Find International travel Information", then "Country Information", and input the name of the destination country. For health-related information, consult the Centers for Disease Control website at www.cdc.gov/travel, click on “Destinations” and navigate to the name of the destination country. For details specific to COVID-19, we recommend the IATA's COVID-tracking site, in addition to the State Department site. Your decision to travel is personal, and you are doing so fully aware of current travel advisories and restrictions related to COVID-19. You are responsible for understanding and complying with all travel requirements and restrictions. These may include, but are not limited to: health affidavit forms, health screenings before departure and/or on arrival, temperature checks before departure and/or on arrival, travel purpose affidavit forms, online travel authorizations, airline health and safety requirements such as health forms, screenings, and face coverings; in-country requirements such as routine temperature checks, quarantine, masks; visa requirements. Non-compliance may result in penalties, mandatory quarantine, or deportation at your own expense.
4. PASSPORTS AND VISAS
International travel necessitates a valid passport and possibly additional documentation like visas. Non-US citizens may have different immigration rules. You are responsible for contacting the required consulate and ensuring you have the necessary paperwork. Without these documents, you won't be allowed to travel.
5. RESPONSIBILITY FOR TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS
You are solely responsible for verifying all passport, visa, vaccination and other entry requirements for your destination and transit countries. This includes researching health, safety, political stability, and potential disturbances at your destination.
6. FARE RESTRICTIONS
Most discounted fares come with certain restrictions. Any modifications to the carrier, flights, or routing could result in a full fare being charged. Consult with an agency or airline before making any changes.
7. CHANGES IN TIMES, FLIGHTS, AND FARES
Please note that times, flights, and fares are based on current tariffs and are subject to change without notice.
8. SUPPLIER PRICE DROPS
If a Supplier reduces the price of a trip after your booking, we will attempt to assist you with rebooking, subject to the Supplier's policy and a potential fee. Refunds or successful rebooking are not guaranteed.
9. CREDIT CARD CHARGES
If we process your credit card transaction, remember that our role is to provide consultation and facilitate the sale by paying the Supplier. If the Supplier fails to provide the service or shuts down, your recourse is against the Supplier, not us.
10. CHANGES MID-TRAVEL
Should your plans change while traveling, consult with your travel agent or airline for potential charges and fees.
11. OVERBOOKING
Airlines might overbook flights, and passengers who are denied boarding might be eligible for compensation. The rules for denied boarding compensation are available at all ticket counters.
12. CANCELLATIONS AND REFUNDS
Changes or cancelations to your flight itinerary must be made prior to your originally scheduled departure. No value remains after departure.
13. HOTEL BOOKINGS
Hotel bookings are usually confirmed with a guaranteed payment. Any changes or cancelations should be made within the specified time frame of the hotel. Policies may vary.
14. TRAVEL INSURANCE
We highly recommend purchasing travel insurance. The policy terms will dictate coverage extent. Consult the insurance provider for details.
15. SUPPLIER BANKRUPTCIES
If a Supplier declares bankruptcy, they are not obligated to honor reservations made prior to the bankruptcy or to refund tickets. Travel insurance plans are available that provide protection against Supplier bankruptcies.
